If you don’t want to renew your subscription after it expires:
- You won’t lose any work. Your work will continue to remain private.
- you will be able to use all features that you could do with a paid account: accessing, viewing projects, and sharing with your teammates.
- You can continue to access and update the projects you created with a paid subscription. But, you won't be able to create a new project.
If you decide you want to renew at a later date, that’s fine — you’re welcome back at any time and regain full access to the features and functionality.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any point.
Are there any structures I need to set up in my energy models to fully utilize InverseHub/SimReader?
-
eQEUST/DOE2 SimReader can read both ES-D (Energy Cost Summary) and PS-F (Energy End-Use Summary) reports without requiring any special setups.
However, because of the limitation on the format of the ES-D report, the number characters for a meter name is limited to 4. The ES-D report can represent only the first 4 characters of the meter name while the PS-F doesn't have the limitation. A simple workaround is to use a meter name with less than 4 characters (e.g., EM1, EM1A, FM1). If the meter name has more than 4 characters, the first 4 characters should be unique. - EnergyPlus/OpenStudio SimReader reads part of LEED Summary, BUILDING ENERGY PERFORMANCE, and Tariff Report tables in the eplustbl.html file. Here is a basic setup for an EnergyPlus/OpenStudio user.
No. Windows will check periodically for updates and install them silently for you, minimizing the network bandwidth. You are always up-to-date with recent features, improvements and bug fixes.
SimReader is virus-free and really does only what it promises to do. It does not have any kind of telemetry or any unjustified communication with internet. There are just two cases when an internet call is made by SimReader:
- Checking for the most recent version available
- Uploading eQUEST model outputs to InverseHub server
All binary files and SimReader packages are digitially signed to prevent tampering.
